Looking back at 2024
From March 2nd to June 18th, 2024, the Everyday People sculptures were exhibited in Valkenburg an der Geul for the first time. More than 40 sculptures at 19 locations were on display that year.
The exhibited sculptures not only shaped the cityscape but also created a dialogue between the viewer and the art.
Valkenburg 2026
Following their successful 2024 exhibition, the Everyday People sculptures will return to Valkenburg in 2026.
The life-size sculptures will once again be displayed at selected locations in the town center, inviting visitors to rediscover Valkenburg on a leisurely stroll.

Hetty returns
At the 2024 exhibition, Hetty was one of the most popular figures in Valkenburg. Many visitors stopped to take photos or saw a part of themselves in her.
In 2026, Hetty returns to the very spot where she attracted so much attention at the last exhibition.
Her return symbolizes the connection between the exhibition, the town, and the visitors – familiar yet always new.
