For the first time, Marktredwitz in the Fichtelgebirge in Bavaria is hosting an Everyday People exhibition.

 

From July, 24th 2024, you can discover over 40 everyday people in the picturesque old town of Marktredwitz.

The first Everyday People exhibition will take place in Marktredwitz from July, 24th  to November 4th 2024 .

 

 

More than 40 sculptures will be on display for over three months in the beautiful Fichtelgebirge mountains, where you can marvel at, walk around and touch them.

 

 

We are already looking forward to many #AlltagsmenschenMomente that we can experience together with you.

Everyday People Guided Tours Marktredwitz

For those who want to learn more about the everyday people, the Tourist Information Marktredwitz offers guided tours starting Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

During the tour, which is divided into two routes due to the length of the route, visitors learn interesting facts about the exhibition and the history of the wonderful figures.

Every Tuesday

Tour 1: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Tour 2: 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

Every Thursday

Tour 1: 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM

Tour 2: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Children's Rally Marktredwitz

Young visitors to the traveling exhibition are cordially invited to participate in the children's rally.

Simply register at the Tourist Information office in Marktredwitz (Markt 29), discover the Everyday People sculptures in Marktredwitz and solve some tricky puzzles on the tour.

For everyone who has found the correct solutions, there is a small reward available – also at the Tourist Information office (while supplies last).

Everyday People Photo Competition
in Marktredwitz

The Everyday People sculptures have not only brought life to Marktredwitz, but also inspired it! As part of the Everyday People exhibition, the town of Marktredwitz launched a photo competition, which was a resounding success with 222 entries. The pictures were as diverse as the people themselves: humorous, emotional, and full of creativity.
