Alltagsmenschen are coming to Neuwied.
From March, 27th 2025, over 40 life-size sculptures will make their way into Neuwied city centre and along the Rhine promenade. The open-air exhibition will be on display for three months at the foot of the Westerwald in the romantic Rhine Valley.

Neuwied, Rhineland-Palatinate

The first Everyday People exhibition will take place in Neuwied from March, 27th to June, 30th 2025. 

For three months, over 40 sculptures will be exhibited at 14 locations in Neuwied city centre and on the Rhine promenade for visitors to admire, walk around and touch.

We are already looking forward to many #AlltagsmenschenMomente that we can experience together with you.

Discover Neuwied

Neuwied, idyllically situated on the Rhine in Rhineland-Palatinate, is a town with around 65,000 inhabitants and is known for its diverse sights and charming surroundings. 

 

This year in Neuwied, you can experience the everyday people on a walk through the town centre. The figures are set up in various places and invite you to discover art and the city in a special atmosphere. An experience that will delight the people of Neuwied and their guests from near and far!

In touch with the 
Alltagsmenschen in Neuwied

The town of Neuwied will offer anyone interested the opportunity to discover the Alltagsmenschen on an open tour, during which there will be plenty of anecdotes and background knowledge about the everyday people of Neuwied and, of course, the town itself.  

Dates Everyday People Guided Tours

April 5, 2025, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

May 18, 2025, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

June 15, 2025, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

The cost is €6 per person (children aged 6-14 pay €4). You can book both public and private tours directly with the city of Neuwied.

Photo competition

The city of Neuwied is looking for the most beautiful everyday photos, together with you! Interact with the "Everyday People" photos, start a look-alike contest, or have a friendly chat in the afternoon. There are no limits to your creativity.

The photo competition will run concurrently with the exhibition. The deadline for submissions is May 30, 2025. Great vouchers are up for grabs. You can find all the details about the photo competition and the terms and conditions of participation here:

Photo Rally

The photo rally in the city of Neuwied offers fun for young and old alike, and it's sure to be enjoyed by more than just the youngest visitors.

Who owns the green bag and who's wearing a party hat? The photo rally features seven snapshots of everyday people that you have to find! If you find them all, you have a chance to win a prize. You can participate until June 30, 2025.

There are great city vouchers from the city of Neuwied to be won.
