Four life-size sculpture groups by Laura Lechner and Christel Lechner invite visitors to quiet encounters at two locations in Central Switzerland this summer.
Between the lakeshore, the roadside, and the park bench, space is created for what is often overlooked in everyday life.

Everyday people in Horw & Kirchfeld
Four installations. Two locations.
A summer together.
In Horw and Kirchfeld, four sculpture groups by Laura Lechner and Christel Lechner can be seen this summer – placed in locations that seem ordinary yet become very present.
The exhibition connects two neighboring communities on Lake Lucerne in a quiet way – understated, open and entirely dedicated to what becomes visible between people.
The set table
Seehotel Horw
A festively set table, people eating, a few empty chairs – and behind them: Lake Lucerne.
What appears to be an invitation to sit down is actually a still scene in concrete. Right in front of the Seehotel Horw, a summer's day transforms into a picture that invites contemplation – and close observation.

Man in shorts and
two ponies
- Kirchfeld -
His hands in his pockets, the ponies by his side – as if this were their permanent place. No fence, no stable, no sign. Just three of them, standing side by side, in the middle of Kirchfeld, right by the roadside.
Perhaps it's coincidence. Perhaps it's a silent agreement that no one can explain.
Anyone passing by quickly realizes: It's not about causing a stir. It's about this very moment.
The seated
- Kirchfeld -
Two people share a bench. They say nothing, they do nothing – and therein lies something touching.
It's not a moment that seeks attention. And yet, as you pass by, you sense that something is there: a pause perhaps, a brief harmony, entirely without words.
What exactly connects them remains open. And perhaps therein lies the invitation: simply to observe – without knowing what to expect.

Shopping couple
- Kirchfeld -
Two figures side by side. Between them: movement that doesn't take place – and yet remains palpable.
The scene seems casual, almost overlooked. And perhaps that's precisely why one lingers a moment longer.
What you see isn't immediately clear. But something about it seems familiar.
